橋杭岩は、和歌山県東牟婁郡串本町にある奇岩群。同町の大字鬮野川小字橋杭の海岸から紀伊大島方面へ大小約40の岩が南西一列におよそ850メートルもの長きにわたって連続してそそり立っている。直線上に岩が立ち並ぶ姿が橋の杭のように見えることから橋杭岩と呼ばれている。 (ウィキペディア)
Hashiguiiwa is a group of strangely shaped rocks located in Kushimoto Town, Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture. Approximately 40 large and small rocks stand in a row from the coast of Oaza-no-gawa, Koaza-hashigui in the town to the direction of Kii-Oshima for a length of about 850 meters in a row to the southwest. It is called Hashigui-iwa because the rocks lined up in a straight line look like the piles of a bridge.
